TERRORISM AND RELIGION

The day of 26/11/2008 was gloomy and it changed many of us, and made us raise a voice against the evils. We lost many a lives but someone I knew too fell a prey to the day. It was Zaheen our schoolmate, blue eyed boy of his family, a good friend from a small town of Bhilwara working as a chef at Taj. He died a fighter’s death trying to save the lives of others and lost his own. His death made me think deeply as to what exactly are these people, these terrorists, I was confused, are they Hindus, Muslims, Christians or Sikhs?
After Zaheen had been killed I guess I have an answer now, these people have no religion, and rather these people belong to those who are not left with anything to do. These people are weaker than even a common man. They say that they fight for the rights of Islam or Hinduism or Christianity, whatsoever but they forget that there could be no war or fight in the name of religion, no religion preaches hatred but then what to do as these people actually do not have a religion, they are not even man enough, and in this desperation they just want everyone to know that they exist.
The death of Zaheen is a proof that terrorism has nothing to do with God, salvation or religion and killing someone in the name of God is not justified.
Well I too believe in God but he is a lot different from those been prayed by others. Well my Lord is, but a bit hazy, without a shape, and a recognizable face. Sometimes I even think that he exists because of me, because I’ve put my faith in Him. He never stops me from doing a mistake, and rather He keeps an eye on me and wants me to correct it on my own. ‘Cause there would be no use if I wont realize it on my own that what I’m doing is a wrong. He wants me to learn through my mistakes and wants me to keep on doing unless I stop and say to myself “Hey man this is enough, I shouldn’t do it anymore”.
He wants me to gain experiences of my own rather than living a life through the experiences of others. He wants me to respect people on the basis of their doings and not because of their religion, sex, status or age. He gives me freedom and it’s on me how I utilize it. And He makes me know that we r not that Christian who converts people by tempting them for money, we are not that Hindu, who doesn’t respect Islam and sat on the Babri masjid and shatterd it in a democratic country, we are not that Muslim whose sole aim is to increase the population of this country and increase unemployment, and we r not that Jain who believes in the superiority of his religion, no we r not any one of these above.
We are just a human being. Then who are these people who think this way??
I don’t care how many Hindus or Muslims died in a riot, but m concerned about the life of the people who died. No religion is superior, just that we r born into one we need to praise it in spite of the ill doings, humbug, shear humbug.
No war cud b fought in the name of religion, everyone is equal in the eyes of God, I’m a Christian that doesn’t mean that Lord Ram would not bless me, or Jesus would get annoyed as to why am I praying Ram! God never differentiates or has superiority, we our selves want to claim the superiorities of our religion.
We do a lot for others, why? ‘Cause do we want to get the same form them? No never, rather we do it because we want to let them know that we are like that, and we r not what they are.
Well I feel sorry for those who don’t even know the difference between Muslims and terrorists, a terrorist could b a Hindu, a Christian and a Sikh, he doesn’t have a religion.
He who preaches hate for others deserves hell, whether he's a Hindu, a Muslim or a Christian...
Be religious and be loyal to your Lord but don't b loyal to these misguiding and frustrated religious leaders that’s all I can say....
This is my thought if you like it then jus spread it to as many people as you can or just let it be to yourself and bring about a change of tolerance, love, equality and peace and let not any other Zaheen die.
